Can I still pass?
The honest mid-challenge question. Answered in trades, not percentages.
Where you stand
Tight
You still need $10,000 and can still lose $10,000. Ratio 1.00.
Remaining to target
$10,000
10.0% of the account
Loss buffer left
$10,000
Trading days still required
4
Winning trades needed
10
At 0.5% risk and 2:1, with no losers in between.
Losing trades until breach
20
Consecutive losers at your typical risk.
- You need to make roughly as much as you can still lose. Size down, not up.
- This is arithmetic, not a prediction. It does not know your win rate, and neither does anyone selling you a pass guarantee.

The one ratio that matters
Divide what you still need to make by what you can still lose. Under 0.5 you are comfortable. Around 1 you need to make as much as you can lose, which is where people start oversizing. Over 1.5 the arithmetic says a fresh attempt is often cheaper than forcing this one, especially on a 2-step account where the passing fee comes back.
What "needs a streak" means
It means the remaining target can only be hit with several consecutive winners at your normal risk. Most traders respond by increasing risk, which shortens the number of losers they can survive. The calculator shows both numbers side by side so you can see the trade-off before you make it.
